You will be required to attach proof of the defective product by taking photos or videos while opening the package of the goods ordered. Without the proof required, your request may not be approved. It must be clear in the attached proof that the good(s) were defective when delivered. 

We do accept exchanges and they follow the same conditions as returns.

Yes, all of our extensions are made from 100% Vietnamese human hair. This means they can be washed, styled, and treated just like your own hair.

Absolutely. The textures are specifically designed for Afro-textured and curly hair, ranging from the tightest coils to a silk pressed.

With proper care, Roots by Tayo extensions can last up to 3 years. The longevity depends on how often you wear them and how well you maintain them.

The hair will come in a natural black colour. As the hair is made from raw Vietnamese Hair the darkness may vary from bundle to bundle.

Bleaching or lightening any human hair can alter its natural structure. While our extensions are made from high-quality hair, chemical processing may loosen the curl pattern or affect the texture’s longevity. To preserve the curl definition, we recommend minimal bleaching and having all colouring services done by a professional who specialises in working with textured human hair.

Yes. Since our extensions are 100% human hair, you can heat style them just like your natural hair.

We suggest lightweight products, heat protectants and a moisturising shampoo and conditioner. Avoid heavy butters or oils, which can weigh the hair down. Visit the Hair Care page for recommendations.

Yes. After washing, the extensions will return to their original texture.

It's recommended to wash your extensions every 1-2 weeks to ensure the hair isn't weighed down with excess product or build up.

We created beautiful satin lined boxes to help keep your extensions tangle free and luscious. We recommend using the boxes provided to store your extensions.

Yes, for swimming we recommend braiding or tying the hair, and washing/conditioning immediately afterwards to remove chlorine or salt water.
